Planning Your Visit

In order to get the most out of your day, pre-planning with the Gardens’ Study Centre is essential. If you have not already discussed your plans with us, please telephone 0121 450 5093 at any time and if there is no-one available please leave your name and telephone number on the answering machine.

A full 'Educational Visits' pack including health and safety information as well as everything you need to plan your visit is available below.

You may find the following information helpful:

  • We cannot accommodate more than two class groups at any one time
  • The extensive grounds are ideal for picnics. In the event of bad weather, the classroom may be available
  • We recommend a party ratio of at least 1 adult to every 6 pupils to make supervision easier. Entrance is free to adults within this ratio (any adults above this ratio will be charged at our adult party rate which is currently £5.50 per adult,rising to £6.50 after 01/04/2008). Please telephone for prices after 2008. Special school ratios by arrangement.
  • The Gardens and Study Centre are fully accessible by wheelchair
  • Complimentary tickets are available to help you plan your visit (one per class teacher).
