Statement from Trip Leader – September 2020

On September 21st 2020, Grange Primary Academy visited Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

All documentation, covid-19 updated, was e-mailed, and the Gardens’ communication and organisation facilitated the prompt planning, as we had been seeking a venue just a week before the trip date.

Our teaching sessions were scheduled to meet our curriculum needs. Our year 6 children had a fantastic day, whilst being protected by the organisation of the Gardens to ensure dedicated space and social distancing, specific routes in and out, dedicated classrooms and our own toilets.

The children have asked to go back again. As a school, we highly recommend taking your children.

Mrs. Williams, Head of School.
