February Half Term Fun

Come along to the Gardens for plenty of February Half Term activities, including Arts and Crafts, Bug Hunting and Story Trails!

Our Arts and Crafts will be taking place 12-4pm each day, no extra charge to get involved!

We will have plenty all week to keep the kids entertained:

Monday – We will have some fab Face Painting, Arts and Crafts and a very special Storytelling Trail! Our Storytelling Trail will take you all around the Gardens, with stops for a short story and some mini-beast hunting! The trail will start at our bandstand at 11.30am and 1.30pm – places will be limited, please arrive as early as possible to avoid disappointment!

Tuesday – Meet our animals! We will be having animal displays throughout the day from 10.30 until 3.00pm. You’ll have the opportunity to meet some of the animals we keep in our Education department, including our Corn Snake, Sand Boa, Giant Land Snail, Chameleon, Tenrec, Gargoyle Gecko, Bearded Dragon, Poisonous Dart Frogs and Stick Insects! Spaces are limited, with 40 per session. Tickets for animal handling can be collected at reception. There is no extra charge, but we will hand them out on a first come first served basis.

Wednesday – We will have more Face Painting and Art and crafts fun. Plus we will be doing a special Science themed day – Pond dipping in the morning, a brilliant way to learn about different creatures in our Gardens. Then, in the afternoon, we will have a special session where the little ones will be able to design and launch their mini-rockets! Bring any budding scientists along!
