Midland Bonsai Show
The Midland Bonsai Society is pleased to announce that its Annual Show will be held in the Terrace Suite at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens on Sunday 5th June 2016.
The Show will be held in conjunction with the Redditch Bonsai Society.
Members will be staging an extensive display of their trees which will be divided into competitive classes and which will be judged by George Bradley an internationally recognised Bonsai expert/aficianado. Prizes and cups will be presented later in the afternoon once judging is complete.
The Redditch Society will stage a general display of their members’ trees.
Apart from viewing the display, which will undoubtedly contain some fabulous trees, visitors will be able to participate in an extensive Tombola.
They will also be able to purchase bonsai trees and bonsai materials and equipment from David Cheshire Bonsai and our old friend Dick Turner will be there with his extensive range of exquisite display stands.
Once entry to the Gardens has been gained entry to the Show is free of charge.
Don’t forget that the Gardens are also home to the National Bonsai Collection.
Once entry to the Gardens has been gained entry to the Show is Free of Charge. The Gardens open at 10.00 a.m. and the BONSAI SHOW will open at 10.30 a.m. and close at about 4.00 p.m.
We are also pleased to announce that the Society will now also be organising a sales table of over 30 established bonsai trees of one sort and another and other bonsai materials, which will be on sale to the general public during the show.
