On the Terrace stands the Pavilion Tea Room, the perfect place to soak up the sun or relax in the shade and enjoy a refreshing drink and a bite to eat. Here you’ll find an enticing range of dishes, whether you are looking for a light snack or a hearty lunch, and a great selection of drinks, from refreshing juices to, of course, warming teas. We pride ourselves on the use of fresh, locally sourced produce to create our delicious fare, so a trip to the Pavilion Tea Room is always a treat.
At the right time of year you will also see Wisteria sinensis in flower, providing an attractive framework around the Pavilion's main window.
From the Pavilion it is only a short step to the Sensory Garden, which is full of plants to touch and smell. This area of the Gardens has also been designed with tactile studs underfoot to enable visitors who are blind or partially sighted to locate plant labels in Braille.
