175 years after opening, we need your help to keep the gardens open.

In 1832, 400 people donated £5 each to ensure The Birmingham Botanical Gardens & Glasshouses opened. 175 years later, we continue to promote the vital partnership between plants and people to over 200,000 visitors and school children each year.

Barrel arch at the GardensOur message today is more important than ever but as an independent charity we face increasingly bigger challenges to survive.

To mark our 175th anniversary, we are calling upon 400 individuals or businesses to once again support our work.

By donating £100 or more you can become one of the 400 Champions of 2007 and help ensure the restoration and future development of this important part of Birmingham’s heritage*.

All Champions will receive a limited edition gift, certificate and acknowledgement on our website… Or why not become a Gold Champion by giving £500 and enjoy the benefits of a link to your website plus your name or logo on a commemorative board at the Gardens.

Our thanks go to all our champions.

Will you join the 400 and help keep this oasis alive?
