About the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, UK

Birmingham Botanical Gardens is the green heart of Birmingham, offering a uniquely bio-diverse natural environment. It is one of the UK’s most significant historic Botanic Gardens which has remarkably remained intact since 1829.

The Gardens offers something for everyone. With over 7000 plants to explore in our 4 Victorian Glasshouses and exciting outdoor Gardens including two Alpine Gardens, the Japanese Garden showcasing the National Bonsai Collection, a Pinetum, the Adventure Playground, and a rolling lawn overlooking our restored authentic bandstand.

10th February to 24th May: The Gardens are open from 10 am until 5 pm on weekdays and weekends.
