Special Events for Schools

You've just missed our Special Rainforest Week 2011!

Live animals brought in to the Gardens by company Tropical Inc, unique talks and more!

But don't panic! We are re-running this popular event next year! The dates for your diary are:

Monday 10th to Friday 14th December 2012

Tropical Inc. have announced their prices will be frozen at this year's special price of just £85 + VAT for each session booked (maximum 30 pupils per session) plus Gardens' entry.*

*usual Gardens' entry for schools and colleges is £5 per pupil but a reduced fee is usually charged for this special event.

Sunflowers and Science

We are signed up - are you? If you are growing sunflowers in your school garden this year then you can join in a nationwide science project to study the arrangement of seeds in the sunflower seed heads. This is linked to the ideas of mathematician and code breaker Alan Turing about plant growth. Read more
