Booking An Educational Visit

General Information for All Educational Visits

We provide a unique service across the West Midlands and beyond, both to schools, colleges and nurseries in term-time, but also to uniformed groups (e.g. brownies, scouts), holiday clubs and youth groups at weekends and during school holidays. Most visits begin when we open at 10am, but you can choose your own package to best suit your requirements.

Pre-booking for all educational visits is essential, even if you wish to be self-guided without any facilities. There is a charge made for all educational admissions. The current rate is available if you click on `Prices and Payments’ below.

Teacher Pre-Visits

We recommend that teachers carry out a pre-visit, even if you have been to the Gardens before, as things change. For free admission during the Gardens’ opening hours seven days a week, simply bring along letterheaded paper from your school, signed by your Head Teacher with the date of your visit, to present at Reception. (Please note that if you bring any guests or family members with you, they will be charged admission.)
