Midland Bonsai Show
Midland Bonsai Society Annual Show.
Normal admission charges apply (members free)
Sunday 17th October 2021.
The Society is a relatively small organisation of some 30 or so members. It has been in existence for over 25 years and its aim is to practice the art of bonsai with like minded people. Our varied annual programme includes talks, demonstrations and workshops. The more experienced members are always willing to give help, advice and encouragement to newcomers or the less experienced. We have an extensive library facility of books and magazines. We meet every first Thursday of the month at Moseley Cricket Club, Streetsbrook Road, Solihull, B90 3PE, (opposite Robin Hood Cemetery) at 7.30 p.m.
On SUNDAY 17th October 2021 the Society will be holding its annual show at the Botanical Gardens when members’ trees will be on display to the public in the Terrace Suite. There will also be a number of bonsai traders in attendance selling trees and other bonsai related materials and also a tombola.
This event is also supported by Redditch Bonsai Society who will be putting on a display of their members’ trees at the same time.
All in all there will be a wide and eclectic selection of trees to view, so why not come along and take a look for yourself. Who knows, you might get hooked?
