Swingamajig 2023: Celebrating 10 years of Swingamajig

Swingamajig is a one day festival like no other – bringing together an eclectic blend of music, dance, and cabaret.  The festival takes the sounds and styles from the roaring 1920′s, and brings them up to date with a modern twist.  Since launching in 2013 the festival has grown into the magical event it is today, so come help us celebrate our 10th birthday in style!

We have no less than 6 stages of vintage inspired music, DJs, Cabaret, and Swing dancing, as well as street food, craft drinks, a vintage market and much more.  Our festival takes place across the beautiful lawns and tropical greenhouses of Birmingham’s Botanical Gardens, Swingamajig truly is a show like no other.  We host two stages of live bands, a seated theatre for our internationally acclaimed cabaret line up, free swing dance taster workshops and performances two spaces for DJs playing the very best of electro swing. 

Swingamajig is a family friendly event so please bring your kids so they can join you for the magic.

For those looking to party through the night, we are hosting an afterparty too, and this year we are proud to announce that we will be returning to the Mill in Digbeth.  The afterparty is where you can really let your hair down to DJs playing the freshest vintage inspired sounds.  Think 1920s influenced House, DnB, Breaks and more.  Please note the afterparty is for adults only.
