Nursery Prices and Payment Options

SELF-GUIDED OPTION

There is so much to see at the Gardens that you might just simply wish to explore the site independently, encouraging the children to touch, smell, look and listen to all the amazing plants, animals, and other features that you come across. You can also use as many of the free Educational Resources as you like to help structure your visit.

Off-peak (August – January): £7 per child

Peak (February – July): £8.50 per child

TEACHING SESSION OPTION

We offer many expertly-taught, cross-curricular sessions to choose from. Have your children; learn about and handle our unique and exotic animal collection; hunt for weird and wonderful minibeasts in our beautiful Gardens; or engage their senses with an activity-filled walk around the Gardens, just to name a few. Every teaching session links directly to the National Curriculum and can be tailored to fit any topic.

All EYFS teaching sessions are available to view here.

MINIMUM CHARGE

In order to cover our costs as an Educational Charity, a minimum charge will be levied for groups with fewer than 15 children (August – January) or 20 children (February – July).

Accompanying adults are just £3 each.

PAYMENT PROCEDURE

An invoice will be generated at time of booking, which must be paid at least four weeks before your visit date (or as soon as possible if your booking is within four weeks).

GOODY BAGS

Our Gift Shop and Garden Centre is always open for children and teachers to purchase any souvenirs of their day at the Gardens. However, if group leaders prefer not to visit the shop but would still like to make a purchase, then goody bags can be made up for collection instead. Please advise of your requirements on your booking form. (We are unable to invoice for any shop/goody bag purchases. These must be paid for on the day of your visit via credit/debit card.)
