WHAT EXACTLY IS IT?

This is a walk-through trail experience. Groups of up to 30 will walk through the woodland where they will be met by live actors in six magical performance zones.

You will NOT be seated watching this performance. Audience participation takes place during the performance.

HOW LONG IS THE EXPERIENCE?

The whole production is just under 60 minutes, giving you enough time to enjoy the adventure

WHAT IF IT RAINS?

This is an outdoor event, so be prepared for changes in weather.

Bring on the rain jackets, umbrellas and wellies! The show will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions.

CAN I BRING MY DOG?

Only assistance Dogs are allowed in the Gardens, we are afraid. Akela is always looking to expand her pack and they might not want to leave

 

HOW OLD MUST YOU BE?

This production is suitable for adventurers aged 3+ all the way up to those old farmers out there. However, young children are permitted at parents discretion. The show will require walking through forested areas, remaining quite during performance zones and some scarier scenes involving Shere Khan.

HOW MUCH ARE TICKETS?

Ticket prices are as follows;

Standard Membership Exclusive
Adult £15 £13
Concession* £12 £10
Family** £47 £45

Children ages 0-2 may join for free, but please add the a ‘0-2’ ticket to

your basket. Please be advised, there are some scarier scenes.

*Concession prices = children aged 3-15, students, people with disabilities, registered carers, adults aged 60+

**Family tickets consist of 2 x Adult Tickets + 2 x Concession Tickets

IS THE TRAIL WHEELCHAIR ACCESSIBLE?

Wheelchair users and parents with prams are welcome to attend.

However we must make you aware that this trail is in a rustic, outdoor setting. Some of the ground may be uneven and there is a slight incline slope during the trail. We recommend those in a wheelchair to have someone with them to support them if necessary.

 

PARKING

Birmingham Botanical Gardens do offer Parking – and overflow will be available at Edgbaston High School next door. If you park in the Gardens, you will need to pay £3 for parking (if you are not a member) and register your vehicle using the machines at reception. Keep the receipt given from these machines for at least 28 days.

ARE THERE TOILETS?

Guests may use the toilets available at Reception, through the shop, and also next to our Terrace Aviary. Please go before the show, once it has started you must wait until the whole performance has finished – otherwise you will not be re-admitted.

 

ARRIVING FOR MY EVENT

Please arrive at our box office area no more than 10 minutes before you performance time to avoid group crossovers. You will need to display your tickets and then be admitted.

If you arrive late, your show will have already begun, and you will not be permitted into your event. Refunds will not be given for late arrivals.

REFUNDS & EXCHANGES

All tickets are non-refundable. However if you have given a 48 hours notice period that you are unable to attend the event, we can honour to exchange your tickets to new dates – subject to availability.

Babies in arms come free of charge and there’s no need to purchase a ticket.
