We have a maximum of 12 people on a course so you receive more attention from the tutor.

Yes. We recommend that you try out your camera beforehand so you can come prepared with your question for the tutor! You may also need a memory card and fully-charged batteries. Please also wear suitable clothing and footwear as part of the course may take place outside. Some courses do require other specific equipment and you should double-check the current course descriptions for the requirements as requested by the course tutor.

Enrolments must be done via the Gardens on-line booking system where course titles can be chosen and paid for through PayPal or with a credit or debit card 24 hours a day. Just click on the links at the bottom of the page which will take you to the bookings section. Pre-booking is essential for all courses and you must be at least 18 years old to enrol.

If you cancel your place within 28 days of the start date of your course, then we regret to announce that we are not able to offer refunds. Over 28 days before course start date: 100% refund offered. 

Transfers to other course dates are normally only offered in extenuating circumstances.

The Gardens reserves the right to cancel any courses that do not attract sufficient interest, up until a few days before the course is due to start, whereupon a full refund or transfer will be offered.

Courses are held in the Gardens’ Study Centre, which is a building within the Gardens’ grounds, but separate to the main complex. Please park on the Gardens’ car park on Westbourne Road and enter the main Reception. Reception staff will then direct you to the Study Centre.
