Did you know that the Botanics has a library at the top of the spiral staircase?
We have a varied collection of practical and academic horticultural books, including a section on general gardening and gardening design, monographs, floras, books on diseases and a good reference section, plus a selection of journals.
As part of the celebrations for the 175th anniversary of the gardens, we are relaunching the expanded library collection. The library is open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 10.30am to 1.30pm. The library is reference only, but photocopying facilities are available at 10p per page. Arrangements can be made for disabled visitors (please notify Reception in advance).
If you really can’t wait or the plant is dying, the Gardens Advisor, Vernon Johnson, can be contacted through Reception.
Please check in at Reception and come and see us.
