Group Visits & Group Bookings

As a self-supporting independent Educational Charity, we depend greatly on Group Visits for our essential running expenses.

The Gardens are suitable for all age groups including the elderly and disabled.  Plentiful seating, our own parking for cars and coaches and a Tea Room which is open all day and you are welcome to bring picnics.  We also have an Art Gallery and an attractive Gift Shop with a Plant Sales area.

On Sundays, there are often additional attractions such as flower shows and other events, and on Sunday afternoons, from April until September, we have a band playing for the enjoyment of visitors.

Here are just two of the many complimentary reports we have received:

“Only one of the group had previously heard of your gardens.  You now have 48 people all wishing to come back.  They all found the visit a wonderful experience.”
Colin Coulson, Eastry Horticultural Society.

“We spent a wonderful time with you and everybody was much impressed with the variety of plants in the Gardens & Glasshouses.  We were given the warmest of welcomes and everything was laid on for us with the greatest efficiency and hospitality.”
Jon Glauert, Wells & District Centre, National Trust.
