Refunds Policy

At Birmingham Botanical Gardens we are dedicated to providing our visitors with a memorable and enjoyable experience. To ensure a smooth and fair process, we have established the following refunds policy for admissions and events:

Daily Admissions

Once purchased, tickets to the Gardens are non-refundable.

However, in instances of force majeure, such as extreme or dangerous weather, the Garden’s may not be able to open or may be closed at any point during your visit. This will be at the Gardens’ discretion.

In such exceptional cases, visitors may be offered a refund or an alternative date to re-book. This will be assessed on a case-by-case basis. In this instance, please contact the team on (phone) or via (email) at which point the refund will be considered by the team.

On some occasions, a third party may operate ticketing for special events within the Gardens, and refunds will be subject to their terms, conditions and discretion.

Events & Other Additional Activities

Once purchased, tickets for events and other additional activities including,but not limited toperformances, guided tours, and workshops sessions, are non-refundable.

Outdoor events will go ahead whatever the weather, except for in instances of extreme or dangerous weather. In such instances the event may be cancelled at the Gardens’ discretion. In such cases, our policy is to attempt to transfer your ticket to another event date. If this is not possible, we would ask you to contact the team on (phone) or via (email), at which point the refund will be considered by the team.

In the case of third party operated and ticketed events, refunds are subject to their terms, conditions and discretion Enquiries

Requests regarding the above will typically be addressed within 2 working days (for example, requests received on a Thursday will be responded to no later than the following Monday).

If granted, the new visit or event date will be confirmed once the transfer is approved, and a confirmation of the new date and/or time will be provided to you by email.

In the case of third party operated and ticketed events, transfer processes are subject to their terms, conditions and discretion.
