Cyclamen Society – Late Autumn Show 2023

The Cyclamen Society are holding their Late Autumn Show at the Birmingham Botanical Gardens, the home of one of the National Cyclamen Collections.

Come and see a colourful comprehensive display of most of the autumn flowering cyclamen species, shown for both their beautiful flowers and their delightfully patterned foliage. The 33 competitive classes will include both common and rare forms of Cyclamen hederifolium, Cyclamen graecum, Cyclamen maritimum, Cyclamen africanum, Cyclamen confusum, Cyclamen mirabile, Cyclamen cilicium, Cyclamen intaminatum, Cyclamen rohlfsianum and Cyclamen purpurascens.

There will be plants, seeds and publications for sale. Experts will be on hand to offer free advice about the cultivation of cyclamen and how to grow them from seed.

The Cyclamen Society combines the horticultural activities of a specialist plant society with those of a conservation and research organisation that carries out field studies and sponsors laboratory research. It holds 4 competitive shows every year, publishes a twice-yearly journal and has an annual seed distribution.

Cyclamen Society members get free entry into the gardens with evidence of valid membership.
