Live on the Bandstand: Back on the Road

A special bank holiday edition of Live on the Bandstand, featuring Back on the Road.

Live music returns to the Gardens’ iconic bandstand this summer, with performances taking place on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.

On the second Sunday, expect big beautiful sounds from a range of regional brass bands, and on the fourth Sunday of each month, we’ll be focussing on jazz and blues acts.

On Monday 26 August, we look forward to welcoming Back on the Road, an experienced uptempo blues act.

Performance times: 2pm – 4pm

About Back on the Road

“The band’s name says it all. Here’s a gathering of experienced musicians who really know the blues and obviously relish being back on the road.

The band lines up as Tony O’Brien, vocals, with guitarist Ray Sweeny, Richard Fedeski on keyboards, bass guitar man Steve Barr and drummer Bill Jefferson.”
