Live on the Bandstand: Blackwell Concert Band

Live music returns to the Gardens’ iconic bandstand this summer, with performances taking place on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.

On the second Sunday, expect big beautiful sounds from a range of regional brass bands, and on the fourth Sunday of each month, we’ll be focussing on jazz and blues acts.

On Sunday 11 August, we look forward to welcoming the Blackwell Concert Band who boast a set of  includes jazz, blues, pop, rock, film scores and more!

Performance times: 2pm – 4pm.

About the Blackwell Concert Band:

“Blackwell Concert Band are a community concert band based in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, conducted by Jack Martin. They currently have nearly 70 members, with players of all ages and abilities.

The band play at a wide range of events around Worcestershire and wider West Midlands throughout the year, and this year are recording their third CD. Typical repertoire includes marches, jazz, blues, pop, rock, film scores and more!
