Live on the Bandstand: Burton Concert Band

Live music returns to the Gardens iconic bandstand this summer, with performances taking place on the second and fourth Sunday of each month.

On the second Sunday, expect big beautiful sounds from a range of regional brass bands, and on the fourth Sunday of each month, we’ll be focussing on jazz and blues acts.

On Sunday 14 July, we look forward to welcoming the Burton Concert Band. Perfect Sunday afternoon sounds!

Performance times: 2pm – 4pm

Burton Concert Band

About the Burton Concert Band:

“Burton Concert Band are a wind band of experienced musicians from Burton-upon-Trent, Derby and the surrounding areas. Led by Musical Director Ed Temple, they regularly present concerts in Burton-upon-Trent, the Midlands and further afield, as well as organising concert tours both on a national and international scale.

The band have been successful in competing in National competitions including a Boosey & Hawkes Gold Medal and the National Wind Band Finals.”
