The RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!

Join our conservation ranger, Sila, as we take part in the RSPB Big Garden Birdwatch!
The Gardens offers an excellent opportunity for bird-watching while enjoying a blend of nature, discovery, and community spirit.

Each year hundreds of thousands of people across the UK take part in this challenge. Become part of a nationwide effort as we contribute valuable data to the RSPB, collectively enhancing our understanding of the well-being of our feathered friends in the UK.

To take part you’ll join Sila for an hour of bird watching. Starting from the terrace, Sila will guide you and other enthusiasts around the Gardens where you’ll record the diverse array of birds that land in our Gardens.

We encourage you to bring along your binoculars, a note book, sketchbook, or anything else you might want to record the birds with!
The diverse range of birds you might see at the Gardens include the ever-friendly Robin, the vibrant Blue Tit, the elegant Goldfinch, the lively Wagtail, and many more!

Gather at the blackboard on the terrace five minutes before your chosen session, and let the bird-watching adventure unfold.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. This activity will take place outside, please dress appropriately.

All welcome. This event is accessible for wheelchair or mobility scooter users.

Book your ticket here and connect with nature and contribute to conservation of our British wildlife!
