Teaching Session Option

We offer a wide range of expertly-taught, cross-curricular teaching sessions to choose from. Have your students study our tropical seeds, food products and tribal artefacts to learn about the fascinating rainforest environment; have them become detectives and solve cryptic clues that lead to some of our most interesting and astounding plants; have them learn about and handle our unique and exotic animal collection; have them hunt for pond creatures and minibeasts in our extensive, beautiful gardens, just to name a few. Every teaching session links directly to the new National Curriculum and can be tailored to fit any topic.

Goody Bags

Our Gift Shop is always open for children and teachers to purchase any souvenirs of their day at the Gardens. However, if teachers prefer not to visit the shop but would still like to make a purchase, then goody bags can be made up for collection instead. Please advise of your requirements on your booking form (we advise a minimum goody bag spend of £3). (We are unable to invoice for any shop/goody bag purchases. These must be paid for on the day of your visit via cash, cheque or debit/credit card.)
